Binding wire is used for tying the rebar so that it is held in its position firmly without any displacement According to industry practice, Binding wire is available in different gauges . 18G,20G,22G. the  usage of  binding wire  in TMT Bars varies from 8 to 12 kg per 1000 kg (1 ton) of steel. There is a difference as the bar diameter varies.

The thumb rule for calculating the weight of the binding wire Required for perton of TMT Bar  is 1% of the total weight of the reinforcement bar.
